Summer camps at EPFL for girls and boys in August 2026

Registration to the science summer camps organized by the EPFL's Science Outreach Department in August 2026 are opening on Monday 24 March at 12:30 and will fill up quickly. With the objective of promoting MARVEL-related fields, especially toward girls, and encouraging them to choose scientific and engineering careers, MARVEL has supported throughout the years the summer camp in chemistry for girls and boys 11-13 years old (taking place in 2026 from 3 to 7 August) and the summer camp on materials science Matériaux super géniaux for girls 11-13 years old (in 2026, from 10 to 14 August). 

The NCCR MARVELhas supported throughout the years various activities for young girls and boys organized by EPFL's Science Outreach Department at EPFL and all around Switzerland. In particular:

The NCCR MARVEL was also supporting the workshops Maths en jeu (one hour, after school on Wednesday or Thursday, for girls and boys or for girls only (8 -15 years old)), which propose to discover mathematics from another angle, in the form of games, puzzles and fun surveys, the science workshop Diamants, alu, caoutchouc, ils sont fous ces matériaux for girls 7-10 years old (three Wednesday afternoons) and the Coding club des filles offering coding workshops for girls 11 to 15 years old organized all around Switzerland, in French, German and Italian, with new editions regularly proposed.
